Featured Bamboo Plywood Brands

Plyboo architectural plywood is made from 100% rapidly renewable bamboo. This plywood can be cut and sanded using conventional woodworking equipment and offers excellent dimensional stability. It can also be glued or mechanically fastened using the same materials and fasteners commonly used with wood. Available in both an amber and a natural light tone, Plyboo bamboo plywood is sanded to a smooth 180-grit and is an open-grained material that takes stains and finishes exceptionally well. FSC-certified and urea formaldehyde-free (PlybooPure) bamboo panels are now available.

Teragren's traditional and strand bamboo panels and veneer lend elegance to custom furniture and cabinetry. These bamboo panels machine nicely, finish cleanly and offer the custom woodworker a wide variety of grains to complement any décor or project, from the serene consistency of vertical grain or the subtle interruptions of nodes in flat grain panels to the interplay of natural and caramelized fibers in the strand bamboo panels. Strand panels are made with Xcora™ technology for greater hardness, durability and stability. Teragren FSC-certified Traditional bamboo panels (vertical or flat grains) and traditional panels made with no-added-urea-formaldehyde adhesive are also available.
